Overview

Orbit Chats is a real-time messaging platform built to deliver fast, reliable, and engaging communication experiences. The application allows users to connect through one-to-one chats, group conversations, and media sharing while maintaining consistent performance across different devices and network conditions. The goal was to create a lightweight yet scalable messaging system that supports growing user interaction and engagement.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was to eliminate delays in message delivery and ensure real-time synchronization across devices. Existing systems faced performance issues on low-end devices, unstable network conditions, and lacked engaging features such as group communication and instant updates, leading to reduced user retention.

Our Solution

A real-time messaging system was implemented using WebSockets to enable instant bidirectional communication. Flutter was used to build a consistent cross-platform interface, while Firebase handled authentication, cloud data, and push notifications. The system was optimized for low latency, efficient data transfer, and stable performance across devices.
